Smokin Mad Love had the opportunity to attend  Boynes’ annual Test Fest, it’s like SIA for the Midwest, and it was a total blast! We were kindly greeted and welcomed by Bonnie Rathburn, the executive director of the MRA. Opened armed, full of smiles and hugs we immediately felt right at home! After parking the SML van and making a few notes I headed over to Piersons, Boyne Mountains base of the hill pub. Laying out vinyl and finishing cutting stickers for the event I was stoked to see some SML 2nd gen stickers on the bar wall! I met some cool peeps and soon was skating and working on tiger claws and manuals in the parking lot awaiting the rest of the crews arrival. The first night we enjoyed a brisk sleep in the SML “Goon” and were on our toes ready to rock by 8am Monday Morning! The parking lot, where we were part of the on hill demo crew was buzzing and neighbors were setting up and grabbing their morning coffees’. Smiles all around and the sun shining bright created alot of charged energy. Our closet neighbors, were Go Pro, U4fnt, Oakley, Sessions, Arbor, Drake, RIDE, and mad Love to Marhar as well. Big Ups’ to the guys at RIDE for the bangin’ burgers n brats and Marhar for the endless suppply of needed Red Bulls hahaha.  We were lucky enough to be hooked up with a killa’ spot right in front of Helgas’ Houz , our crazy mad energy streamed through all of us along with the three car batteries we drained while jammin’ tunes for the rep morale. HA! 3 Days of Rippin and Rockin and enjoyin’ Boynes Beauty. We totally enjoyed the parties thrown in the evenings, thanks to the MRA , Solomon, K2, Burton & Skullcandy, Marhar and totally fer sure mad props to NEW HOLLAND BREWERY YUM!!!

To sum it up, we were overly f*&ing exciting to hear the reviews from the people who demoed our boards. Our favorite response was from the dude who does the on the snow reports who shared with us our snowboard was the MOST FUN board he had rode all day!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!! ZIP FIZZZ! We continued to meet some super dope amazing people who kindly shared the SMOKIN MAD LOVE STOKE and LOVED HAVING SML under their feet! Our first year release of snowboards was phenomenal and the rider reviews were more than we could ask for! The boards are & were every bit worth the responses they got and we appreciated the snow resorts looking at our line for there shops! HOLLLLAAAHHHH!!!
